MY Projects
Face-Tracking Puppets
Some relatively new projects, I have been making animated characters that can be controlled in real-time with face tracing technology as a part of my portfolio and field experience class. These puppets can all be controlled live from my computer, so feel free to ask for a demonstration during an interview.
Harry the Hound
2020
Harry the Hound is a digital mascot I created for my school’s return to school safety campaign. They can be controlled in real-time using face tracking and voice recognition technology. I can also record and tweak the animation for more precise movement.
I use Adobe Character animator to rig and control Harry and the rest of my puppets. This is what Harry looks like before being rigged
Harry's Photoshop File
The concept for Harry actually came from a series of concepts for safety posters to post around campus. I included a sketch of a cartoon greyhound wearing a mask. The school council liked the greyhound specifically because as our school’s mascot, they are able to represent all students without biases related to race or gender.

Avocado D.U.D.E.
2021
After the success of Harry the Hound, a local company commissioned an avocado puppet using the same technology as Harry. This is an ongoing project, so I do not have a finished product. I do, however, have a pineapple prototype version I made to test the rigging.

Dungeons & Dragons
These projects are a result of my Dungeons & Dragons games. As both a Dungeon Master and Player, I use my games as inspiration and a creative outlet.
D&D Maps
2020
As a dungeon master, I have always enjoyed designing my own dungeons and adventures. when COVID forced my group to play D&D online, I tried my hand at drawing my own dungeon maps. I have now perfected my basic style and am experimenting with water features and more detail in my maps.

D&D Miniatures
2019-2020
Not only does painting D&D minis give me custom game pieces to use while playing D&D, but it also gives me an intuitive sense of how color, light, and shadow work in real life.

School
Much of my art is a result of school projects or extracurricular activities.
Theatre Lighting
2016-2020
Theatre has always been a big part of my life, and while I have decided not to pursue theatre as a career, I am still very interested in participating in community theatre or even working backstage. My elementary school held a school play every year which I participated in for six years. In seventh grade, I started working with the lighting crew and eventually started designing lighting for drama productions and choir performances.

In my Highschool Technical Theater class, I was able to experiment even more with lighting, even dabbling in set design with LED strips framing the stage. Working in the high school theatre also gave me some experience working in stressful situations with hard deadlines.
D&D Sword in the Stone Video
2020
This was my AP English Literature Final. The assignment was to create a parody of the King Arthur stories and present it in a creative way. As a huge D&D nerd, I already like to imagine the stories I read as a D&D campaign. This project allowed me to combine two of my interests, old folk stories and myths, and D&D, in a creative way.
